As a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Educator and Health Advocate, Dr. Lisa Biancalana-Marsh brings a unique perspective to her patient experience as a stage IV colon cancer survivor, including her impassioned work as a primary care provider with special interest in integrative health, addiction medicine and mental health; embracing advocacy, preventive care, and cancer screening awareness. After a radical surgery and 12 rounds of chemotherapy and an anaphylactic reaction to treatment, she was left with clinically disabling deficits to her hands and feet, severe nerve damage and a cascade of autoimmune disorders. Through her own patient experiences, she found alternative pathways to regain functionality, decrease her pain levels and regain mental clarity and life perspective which has allowed her to increase her services to patients in unprecedented ways.

Dr. Lisa is a proven visionary, budding author and a highly sought after nurse practitioner leader. She is board certified in family medicine and imminently in mental health. Throughout her decades of clinical practice, further fueled by her unique perspective as both Advanced Practice Provider and as a patient, she has mastered emotional intelligence and clinical protocols to help patients regain pathways to wellness outside of traditional means. Her mindfulness has allowed her treatment modalities to transcend medicine.
